Ethiopian Airlines places repeat order for 10 A350-900
Ethiopian Airlines, the largest airline in Africa, has placed an order for 10 additional Airbus A350-900 aircraft, enabling further development of its fast expanding long-haul route network. Last June, Ethiopian Airlines became the first African carrier to operate the A350 when it took delivery of the first of 12 aircraft in order. Ethiopian Airlines’ first A350 XWB takes shape
The first A350-900 for Ethiopian Airlines is taking shape on the Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Toulouse, France. Ethiopian Airlines will be the first African A350 XWB operator when it takes delivery of the aircraft next year. Mating of the various aircraft fuselage sections has begun and the vertical stabiliser (tailfin) has been attached. Ethiopian Cargo shifts from Brussels to Maastricht
Ethiopian Airlines (ET) has announced it will stop flying cargo into Brussels and will instead shift the 5-6 weekly cargo-flights, amounting to 40,000 to 50,000 tonnes, to Maastricht-Aachen Airport in the Netherlands.
