Ethiopian Airlines’ first A350 XWB takes shape

The first A350-900 for Ethiopian Airlines is taking shape on the Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Toulouse, France. Ethiopian Airlines will be the first African A350 XWB operator when it takes delivery of the aircraft next year. Mating of the various aircraft fuselage sections has begun and the vertical stabiliser (tailfin) has been attached. Ethiopian Cargo shifts from Brussels to Maastricht

Ethiopian Airlines (ET) has announced it will stop flying cargo into Brussels and will instead shift the 5-6 weekly cargo-flights, amounting to 40,000 to 50,000 tonnes, to Maastricht-Aachen Airport in the Netherlands. Ethiopian orders six more B787 Dreamliners

Boeing, Ethiopian partner on humanitarian flight

Boeing, Ethiopian Airlines and three separate non-profit organisations have delivered more than 1,814kg of medical supplies and equipment for charities and hospitals in Ethiopia and Somalia. Ethiopian Air receives third B777-200LR freighter

Ethiopian Airlines received its third B777-200 LR Freighter on 3 November 2014. In line with its Vision 2025 strategic roadmap and its commitment to support the country’s export of perishables, Ethiopian is fast expanding its cargo fleet and infrastructure.
