Munich Airport's ground handling subsidiary AeroGround has succeeded in securing a long-term contract for landside and airside passenger and aircraft handling services with the Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways. A full handling agreement has also been signed with the Russian cargo airline AirBridge Cargo (ABC). The agreement with Etihad Airways covers the ramp-side aircraft handling through AeroGround. Abu Dhabi reports further cargo growth
Like neighbouring Dubai, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) has reported ongoing growth in cargo and passenger movements with a 6.2 per cent increase in cargo volumes in August, year-onyear and a 12.4 percent rise in aircraft movements.
