Frankfurt Airport reports cargo throughput (airfreight + airmail) at FRA was positively impacted by the slight recovery of the global economy, resulting in a gain of 5.9 per cent in September 2016. Cargo (airfreight + airmail) volumes experienced strong growth, soaring by 5.0 per cent to 181,948 tonnes in April, year-on-year. Frankfurt aims to be Europe´s largest CEIV certified pharma hub
Frankfurt is aiming to become the largest certified pharmaceutical gateway in Europe with a number of companies concurrently pursing the IATA CEIV Pharma certification with the support of the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt.
