Frankfurt Airport cargo climbs 4.7% in November as global demand strengthens
In November 2025, some 4.8 million passengers travelled via Frankfurt Airport (FRA), an increase of 4.0 percent compared to November last year. Fraport ends involvement at Pulkovo Airport
Fraport AG expects to complete the sale of its stake in Pulkovo Airport (LED) in St. Petersburg in the coming days. A corresponding share purchase and transfer agreement has been concluded. The completion of the share transfer only requires the registration of the change in ownership in the Russian register of companies. The transaction is expected to be finalized within a few days. The Fraport global airport company registered passenger growth of 7.2 percent to a total of 74.1 million travelers across its actively-managed aviation gateways during the first half of 2024 (ending June 30). Supported by the growing demand for air travel, Group revenue increased by 13.0 percent year-on-year to €2,038.8 million. Dr. Stefan Schulte will remain the CEO of airport operator Fraport AG for another three years, or until 31 August 2027, as part of a decision taken by the supervisory board today on 15 September.
