Fraport AG expects to complete the sale of its stake in Pulkovo Airport (LED) in St. Petersburg in the coming days. A corresponding share purchase and transfer agreement has been concluded. The Fraport global airport company registered passenger growth of 7.2 percent to a total of 74.1 million travelers across its actively-managed aviation gateways during the first half of 2024 (ending June 30). Dr. Stefan Schulte will remain the CEO of airport operator Fraport AG for another three years, or until 31 August 2027, as part of a decision taken by the supervisory board today on 15 September. Fraport continues to invest in new sources of renewable energy and has signed a new power purchase agreement (PPA) with Centrica Energy Trading A/S to procure more wind power.
