Two major Hong Kong airfreight forwarders have completed a successful trial to produce electronic air waybills (e-AWB) using Hactl’s COSAC-AWB facility. Hactl up 10.1% in third quarter
Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) has achieved 10.1 per cent growth in tonnage through its SuperTerminal 1 base in the first nine months of 2014, compared to the same period of 2013. Total cargo handled in the period was 1,323,250 tonnes. Imports in January-September increased 11.2 per cent YoY, to a total of 367,137 tonnes. Hong Kong Air Cargo Industry Services Limited (Hacis) – the added-value-logistics subsidiary of Hactl – has more than doubled its business with Expeditors Hong Kong, with the provision of its Airport Direct Export service to the major logistics company.
