Airport Authority Hong Kong (the AA) announced that passenger volume and flight movements at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) continued to increase in April 2019. During the month, HKIA handled 6.5 million passengers, representing year-on-year growth of 3%, while flight movements increased 0.8% to 35,655 compared to last April. Cargo volumes slip slightly at Hong Kong
Cargo volumes through Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) slipped 0.4 per cent year-over-year in March, to 368,000 tonnes, despite a 5.2 per cent rise in overall aircraft movements which rose substantially by 28 per cent over a month earlier.
