HKIA air traffic continues to grow in September
In September, Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) handled 4.42 million passengers and 30,080 flight movements, marking year-on-year increases of 9.2% and 1.6% respectively. The growth rates were moderate in comparison to the first eight months of 2025, partly due to multiple typhoons during the month. Passenger traffic reaches new daily peak in August at HKIA
Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) in August handled 5.68 million passengers and 34,840 flight movements, representing year-on-year growth of 15.8% and 10.2%, respectively, with passenger traffic reporting a new daily high since the pandemic.
