All Nippon Airways has been granted antitrust immunity for proposed trans-Pacific cargo joint venture between All Nippon Airways (ANA) and United Airlines (UA) by MLIT (Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism). CAL begins CEIV Pharma at Liege
Tel Aviv-based CAL Group has announced it has joined IATA’s Centre of Excellence for Independent Validators Pharmaceutical Logistics (CEIV Pharma) programme. IATA: CNY, US port delay boost Feb air freight
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released February data for global air freight markets showing a sharp increase in year-on-year air freight volumes. Growth measured by freight tonne kilometers (FTK) was up 11.7 per cent in February, compared to February 2014. Capacity grew 7.4 per cent. Cargo Committee urges criminalisation for DG abuses

PACTL’s perishables centre to open in July
Shanghai Pudong Int’l Airport Cargo Terminal Co. (PACTL) is in the final stages of building a new perishable centre. The new facility will enable the company to provide the whole range of temperature conditions needed for handling perishables and pharmaceuticals at any time.
