AEI CRJ200 SF passenger-to-freighter conversion received EASA approval
Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (EAAEI) announced that the company has received European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval for the AEI CRJ200 SF passenger-to-freighter conversion. The EASA approval (STC 10061615) allows for the operation of European registered CRJ200 SF freighters. AEI received the original FAA STC for the CRJ200 SF at the end of 2016 and has since amassed over 45 firm orders and commitments for the freighter. Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has received an FAA Supplemental Type Certificate for the passenger-to-freighter conversion for the Bombardier CRJ200 aircraft. The CRJ200 SF freighter conversion has been re-delivered to and will enter service with Waterford, Michigan based IFL Group. AEI wins order for two B737-400SF conversions
Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has announced the signing of a contract with Automatic to provide the company with two 11 pallet position B737-400SF freighter conversions. The two aircraft, both built in 1993 are standard gross weight aircraft and will be modified by Commercial Jet’s Miami,FL facility.
