Cathay launches Kolkata freighter service
Cathay Pacific Airways is starting a bi-weekly non-stop freighter service from Kolkata airport to Hong Kong, aimed at boosting import and export in the region. Operating on Thursdays and Sundays, the company will operate B747-400F to carry an estimated 30 tonnes of cargo to and fro Kolkata. Blue Dart December quarter profit rises 17%
India’s Blue Dart Express reported a 17.7 per cent rise in standalone net profit at Rs 27.13 crore for the quarter ended December 2014. The company had registered a net profit of Rs 23.04 crore for the corresponding period a year ago, it said in a filing to the BSE.
