One of Korean Air’s volunteer groups, Sarangnanum – which means to share love – flew to Indonesia to perform its first volunteer activity for 2017. Bad weather on Wednesday hampered efforts to recover the bodies of 54 passengers and crew killed when a plane operated by Indonesian carrier Trigana Air crashed in remote eastern Indonesia. Jetstar adds three SEA destinations
Jetstar Asia is expanding its coverage in Southeast Asia with the launch of direct flights to three new destinations using A320 equipment. From this fall, the Singapore-based low-cost carrier will launch services to the Indonesian cities of Palembang and Pekanbaru and Danang in central Vietnam. Indonesian flag carrier Garuda Indonesia has signed an agreement with local cargo carrier Cardig Air to coordinate on cargo shipping throughout the region.
