Air cargo ends 2016 on a positive note
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released data for global air freight markets showing that demand, measured in freight tonne kilometers (FTKs) grew by 3.8 percent in 2016 compared to 2015. This was nearly double the industry’s average growth rate of 2.0 percent over the last five years. Vladimir Zubkov to be TIACA’s new secretary general
The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has announced its new secretary general, will be Vladimir Zubkov, replacing Doug Brittin, who retires at the end of the year. Zubkov has more than 40 years’ experience in the air transport industry, including senior roles with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), and, most recently, as vice president of the Volga-Dnepr Group of Companies. Cargo agency programme officially kicks off
