Philippine Airlines (PAL) has finalised a purchase agreement with Airbus covering the firm order of six A350-900s, plus six options. The contract firms up a Memorandum of Understanding announced earlier this year during the Singapore Airshow. Airbus enjoys robust 2015 orders in Asia Pacific
Airbus strengthened further its market position in Asia Pacific in 2015, winning 421 net orders from 17 airlines and lessors in the region during the year. This represented 39 per cent of the company’s net order intake in 2015 for 1,080 aircraft. Airbus wins US$57B orders at Paris Air Show
During the 2015 Paris Air Show, Airbus won US$57 billion worth of business for a total of 421 aircraft. The deals comprise firm orders for 124 aircraft worth US$16.3 billion and commitments for 297 aircraft worth US$40.7 billion. EVA Air signs MOU for four more A330s
EVA Air of Taiwan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Airbus for the purchase of four additional A330-300s. Garuda Indonesia has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Airbus for the purchase of 30 A350 XWB aircraft.
