Philippine Airlines’ new B777-300ER to go trans-Pacific

Philippine Airlines has boosted its long-haul fleet with the arrival of a new B777-300ER aircraft. The first of four leased from Intrepid Aviation, the new twin-aisle aircraft will be primarily deployed on the airline’s trans-Pacific routes to North America. PAL expects to welcome another B777 from Intrepid Aviation before the end of 2016. Philippine Airlines finalises order for six A350-900 XWBs

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has finalised a purchase agreement with Airbus covering the firm order of six A350-900s, plus six options. The contract firms up a Memorandum of Understanding announced earlier this year during the Singapore Airshow. PAL eyes major European expansion with coming A350s

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is planning to expand its European network in the coming years, including the launch of direct flights to Paris and Rome once the carrier takes delivery of six new A350 aircraft from 2018. Philippine Airlines selects A350 XWB for long haul fleet

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Airbus for the order of six A350-900s, with another six purchase options. PAL confirms looking to buy dozen B787s or A350s

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has confirmed it is in talks with Airbus and Boeing to buy as many as 12 wide-body aircraft and will decide on the purchase before the end of the year, the flag carrier's president Jaime Bautista told Reuters, recently.
