Korean Air delivers relief goods to earthquake-stricken Japan
Korean Air has provided and transported relief goods to those affected by the earthquake in Kumamoto, Japan. The emergency supplies, including 36,000 liters of mineral water, were loaded onto Korean Air’s flight KE787, which departed on 20 April from South Korea’s Incheon Airport bound for Fukuoka on Japan’s Kyushu Island. Korean Air continues to Home Building Project in Philippines
Korean Air has again joined hands with Habitat for Humanity Philippines (HFHP) to support the Home Building Project. Now in its fourth year, the project provides aid to the local communities in Bohol, Philippines, to rebuild their homes after an earthquake struck the province in October 2013, displacing more than 5,000 families. Korean Air's Cho Yang-ho awarded top honour by France
Cho Yang-ho, chairman of Hanjin Group - which includes both Korean Air and Hanjin Shipping - received the Légion d'Honneur Grand Officier medal, one of France's highest civilian honors, from French President François Hollande at a special ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel, Seoul, Wednesday.
