Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has been awarded three new ground handling contracts at Los Angeles International Airport. China Southern selected WFS to provide ramp services at the airport for its 10 flights per week connecting Los Angeles and Guangzhou. ACI: Slowed air freight growth in March
According to the latest statistics from Airports Council International (ACI) World, global air freight volumes grew 1.4 per cent for the month of March, although the first quarter saw an overall increase of 4.7 per cent year over year. Qatar Airways to start LAX freighter service
Qatar Airways Cargo will launch a new freighter service to Los Angeles from 4 April 2015. The twice-weekly B777 freighter service to Los Angeles will become Qatar Airways Cargo’s fourth US freighter destination alongside Houston, Chicago and Atlanta.
