Cathay Pacific and Lufthansa Cargo are looking to offer more flexibility and savings for shipments between Hong Kong and Europe as they welcomed Swiss WorldCargo into the airlines’ joint business agreement. Vienna Airport, Lufthansa team up on pharma shipments
As part of a cooperation, Vienna Airport will now handle all pharma shipments transported by Austrian Airlines for Lufthansa Cargo at its GDP-certified pharma handling center or VPHC. The airport said the cooperation further establishes Austria’s international airport as a strong pharma hub for central and eastern Europe. EFW recently handed over the third 3rd converted A321P2F to aircraft lessor BBAM, which will be the first passenger-to-cargo conversion of the type to be operated by the Lufthansa Group.
