Lufthansa freighter to add more capacity to Asia

Lufthansa Cargo is expanding its long-haul route network in its winter flight schedule with additional flights to destinations seeing high freight demand, including the addition of a new route to Vietnam. Starting the end of August, Lufthansa Cargo is marketing additional capacity with the deployment of another Boeing 777F freighter. FedEx forecasts record holiday volume

FedEx is expecting to move more than 290 million shipments between Black Friday and Christmas Eve, an 8.8 per cent increase in overall year-over-year peak seasonal volume.
