Schenker sues carriers over cargo price fixing
Deutsche Bahn’s logistics subsidiary Schenker has filed a lawsuit against certain air cargo carriers operating in the US market, allegedly claiming damages for illegal fixing fuel and security surcharges for shipments from, to and within the US from 1999 until at least 2006. AF-KLM Cargo narrows loss, still firmly in red
Air France-KLM Cargo has reported 2013 operating losses of €202 million, down from the 2012 deficit of €230 million, but never-the-less still firmly in the red, reflecting weak global trade and overcapacity in the sector, the combined airline said. South Africa’s turn for price-fixing allegations
Eight air cargo carriers including South African Airways Cargo face allegations of fixing the price of fuel surcharges and freight rates for cargo flown in and out of South Africa.
