Cathay Pacific Cargo signs new contracts with WFS
Cathay Pacific Cargo has awarded new cargo handling contracts to Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) in Brussels and Copenhagen. Hong Kong’s home airline has signed a three-year contract for WFS to provide cargo handling for its new Brussels-Hong Kong direct service, which commenced on 25 March. Oman Air to lease fourteen aircraft from ALC
Oman Air has signed long-term lease agreements with US-based Air Lease Corporation (ALC) covering a total of fourteen aircraft. These include three B737-800s, seven B737 MAX 8s, and one B787-9 that are currently on order from Boeing and another one B737-700 and two B737-800s from ALC’s existing fleet. Oman Air has ordered 20 B737 aircraft as part of a plan to double its fleet to 70 by 2020, chief executive Paul Gregorowitsch said. The order includes both the current generation of 737s, which will be delivered from 2017, as well as the re-engined 737 Max aircraft that will come from 2019.
