Oman Air has signed long-term lease agreements with US-based Air Lease Corporation (ALC) covering a total of fourteen aircraft. These include three B737-800s, seven B737 MAX 8s, and one B787-9 that are currently on order from Boeing and another one B737-700 and two B737-800s from ALC’s existing fleet. Oman Air and Cargolux, who launched a strategic partnership in April 2015, will be introducing a second frequency to Chennai from 11 August 2015. Oman Air orders 20 B737s
Oman Air has ordered 20 B737 aircraft as part of a plan to double its fleet to 70 by 2020, chief executive Paul Gregorowitsch said. The order includes both the current generation of 737s, which will be delivered from 2017, as well as the re-engined 737 Max aircraft that will come from 2019. Oman Air appoints former Air Berlin exec as new CEO
Government-owned Oman Air has appointed Paul Gregorowitsch as its new chief executive officer replacing Wayne Pearce, who left the company after serving more than two years as the CEO.
