Turkish Airlines recorded 398 million TRY (US$182.49 million) net profit in the second quarter and 172 million in first half of 2014. Sales revenue increased by 37 per cent in the first half, reaching 11,3 billion TRY. Thai eyes return to profits, begins restructuring
Thai Airways International said last week it expects to return to profit earlier than expected in the fourth quarter and will cut 1,500 jobs this year as part of a restructuring plan at the troubled national carrier.
