Blue Dart December quarter profit rises 17%

India’s Blue Dart Express reported a 17.7 per cent rise in standalone net profit at Rs 27.13 crore for the quarter ended December 2014. The company had registered a net profit of Rs 23.04 crore for the corresponding period a year ago, it said in a filing to the BSE. JAL’s profit drops despite strong cargo revenue

Japan Airlines (JAL) reported a 3.1 per cent YoY drop in group net profit for the first three quarters of fiscal 2014, to 119.684 billion yen (US$1.01 billion), despite a nearly double-digit rise in international cargo revenue. Boeing reports record 4Q2014 revenue

  Boeing reported record fourth-quarter revenue of US$24.5 billion on higher deliveries and core earnings per share (non-GAAP) that increased 23 per cent to US$2.31, reflecting strong performance across the company. Half-year airfreight volume up at Emirates

Emirates announced its half-yearly results which show steady performance and growth, despite a challenging business environment. Abu Dhabi airport cargo up 5.7%

Abu Dhabi Airports reported a 5.7 per cent increase in cargo tonnage handled in July 2014 when compared to July 2013, reaching 67,456 tonnes. Aircraft movements reached 13,188, representing a 16.1 per cent increase over the 11,355 movements reported in July 2013 and the airport also recorded a 21.7 per cent increase in passenger traffic at Abu Dhabi International Airport for the month of July.
