Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS) and Air India today signed an agreement to form a single 50:50 joint venture (JV) company that will serve as the vehicle to house their three existing ground and cargo handling JVs in Bangalore and Hyderabad. SATS profits even as aviation business down
Singapore Airports Terminal Services (SATS) has reported a 17 per cent rise in first quarter net profits, even though its aviation business has continued to flounder in line with the global economicdownturn. Singapore Airport Terminal Services Limited (SATS) has announced that it has formed a new subsidiary - Asia-Pacific Star Pte Ltd - to offer low-cost ground handling services for low-cost carriers (LCCs) at Singapore Changi Airport and further afield in the region.
