The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced an outlook for improved industry profitability in its Economic Performance of the Air Transport Industry report. October cargo on the up, says IATA
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released October data for global air freight markets showing that the strong performance of air cargo in recent months is continuing. Demand, measured in freight tonne kilometers (FTK), rose 5.4 per cent in October compared to October 2013. This out-stripped capacity which grew by 4.4 per cent. Air freight recovery strengthens, says IATA
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced August 2014 data for global air freight markets showing continued robust growth in air cargo volumes. Measured by freight tonne kilometers (FTKs), volumes rose 5.1 per cent in August, compared to August 2013. Capacity grew at a slower pace of 3.4 per cent from the previous year.
