Reporting its full-year cargo stats for 2015, Qatar Airways Cargo remains the world’s third largest international air freight carrier - a position it moved up to mid-way through last year - with tonnage growing by 37.5 per cent in 2015. Qatar Cargo assists Gurkha charities in getting aid to Nepal
Qatar Airways Cargo has teamed up with English actress and philanthropist Joanna Lumley to help transport 5.3 tonnes of aid from the UK to earthquake victims in Nepal free of charge. The aid was collected by several of the Gurkha charities Lumley supports in the UK, but they had no means of transporting the shipment to victims of the humanitarian crisis in Nepal until Qatar Airways stepped in. IAG, Qatar extend capacity partnership
IAG Cargo has announced a significant extension of its capacity partnership with Qatar Airways, one year on from the signing of their landmark freighter deal.
