National B747F crash from shifting cargo: NTSB

  A National Airlines B747-400 freighter that crashed seconds after takeoff from Bagram, Afghanistan, in April 2013, was likely caused by inadequate restraint of large military vehicles being carried onboard which broke loose and went through a bulkhead disabling two hydraulic systems and making the aircraft uncontrollable, according to a National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) investigation. Qatar Cargo takes on B747 freighter for charter business

Qatar Airways Cargo will introduce the first B747 freighter to its expanding fleet on 1 August 2015 to further enhance its global on-demand charter services. China Air begins Taoyuan-Shenzhen

Taiwan's China Airlines (CAL) has launched a new freighter service from Taoyuan to Shenzhen. The airline will operate three flights per week on this route using B747-400F jets. CAL said it is believes the new route could meet the growing demand for the shipment of consumer electronics and express air parcel as Shenzhen is a major hub for e-commerce and online shopping. World Air to operate B747-400F for Cargolux

World Airways, a subsidiary of Global Aviation Holdings has signed an agreement with Cargolux to operate one Boeing 747-400 freighter aircraft on a full-time basis beginning October 2010 through June 2011. DHL ups capacity on its Asia Air Network

Robust intra-Asian volumes have led DHL to increase capacity between Hong Kong and Singapore, which it serves through Air Hong Kong, a joint venture between Cathay Pacific and DHL.
