Air cargo volumes stayed flat in January
Worldwide air cargo volumes remained flat in January, reflecting the first month there was no year-on-year drop since the start of the pandemic (and even way before that), according to WorldACD’s latest report. WorldACD reports a double digit growth in air cargo industry
With a worldwide volume increase in August of 12.9% year-over-year (YoY), air cargo continued its recent trend by again showing double-digit growth, according to a new version of WorldACD's product data information. Oct a good month for cargo, up 6.2%: WorldACD
WorldACD has reported that the September YoY volume growth of around 5.0 per cent was eclipsed by the 6.2 per cent YoY growth in volumes in October. American and European carriers contributed most to the 3.0 per cent MoM growth in yields (in USD), a higher MoM growth for this month than in previous years. June figures show cargo improvement but belly capacity growth still a problem
Providing some welcome relief from the relentless bad news since the start of 2016, recent statistics from WorldACD indicate the air cargo business picked up in June with worldwide chargeable weight improving by 2.7 per cent year-on-year (YoY).
