Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has been appointed to handle SF Airlines’ new scheduled freighter services at New York’s JFK International Airport. The Chinese airline is operating twice-weekly Boeing 747-400F flights from Hangzhou, the capital of China’s Zhejiang province, to New York. Worldwide Flight Services has closed 3-year contracts with All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Tunisian airline Nouvelair, a newcomer in the cargo business, as the airlines look to expand in the UK. WFS boosts cargo handling capacity at Heathrow
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has increased its facility footprint at London’s Heathrow Airport after a 30 percent growth in volumes in the past year. WFS has signed a five-year lease on Building 578 in the airport’s cargo area, boosting its warehouse and office space by a further 27,000 sqft. Air China has started a new three-year cargo and ramp handling agreement with Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) in Liege (LGG), Belgium.
