Last week Qatar Airways unveiled a one-of-a-kind livery on one of its Boeing 777 freighters which flew from Toulouse on 29 June and at the airport in Doha the next day via Oslo. It was a clear message of gratitude to staff, partners, and customers from the world’s leading cargo airline.
The aircraft flew to Toulouse earlier this month for ‘bespoke decoration’ and now sports a striking livery showing the faces of some of the airline’s cargo employees, with the words ‘Moved by People’ on each side of the plane.
The freighter will serve as the company envoy for Chapter 4 of the company’s WeQare sustainability initiative, centered around the environment, society, economy. This time the focus is on the value of diversity. Qatar Airways dedicated the freighter to the 2,873 unique colleagues in the cargo division, who are all mentioned by name inside the word ‘PEOPLE’ on the one-of-a-kind livery.
“It is their dedication, innovation, and collaboration that has made Qatar Airways Cargo the world’s number one cargo airline, today,” said Guillaume Halleux, Chief Officer Cargo at Qatar Airways.
Chapter 4: Diversity is the latest focus topic in WeQare’s sustainability initiative centered around the environment, society, economy, and culture. It follows on from Chapter 3: “Let’s Stand Together”, launched in April of this year, in support of disadvantaged children across the globe.
