AIR ONE International Holdings expands twin-engine freighter fleet as Boeing delivers second 777F in 3 months

November 26, 2025 by PLA Editor

AIR ONE International Holdings has achieved another key milestone in the group’s fleet modernisation and long-term growth strategy by taking delivery of its second production 777 Freighter from Boeing, to be operated by the group’s affiliated British cargo airline, One Air.

Fresh from Boeing’s Everett, Washington, production line, the 107-tonne capacity freighter is the second 777F to join AIR ONE’s managed freighter fleet within 3 months.

Following the official handover of the latest 777F, the aircraft will arrive at the UK’s East Midlands Airport (EMA) on 19 November, ready to commence commercial operations immediately on AIR ONE’s scheduled Hong Kong–EMA route. AIR ONE launched scheduled freighter services connecting Hong Kong and the United Kingdom in early September, operated four times a week by One Air.

AIR ONE is one of the largest providers of all-cargo capacity between Asia and Europe having already completed over 3,000 wide-body freighter flights, delivering over 300 million kilos of cargo.

The addition of a second 777F reinforces AIR ONE’s commitment to operational reliability and service consistency across its Asia–Europe network, complementing its established managed fleet of 11 Boeing 747 Freighters.

“The Boeing 777 Freighter is an outstanding cargo aircraft. Taking delivery of a second 777F   strengthens our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality services on key Asia–Europe trade lanes. It also reflects our focus on operational reliability and long-term commitment to developing a modern, efficient fleet capable of meeting our customers’ growing air cargo requirements,” said Peter Scholten, AIR ONE’s Chief Commercial Officer.

Chris Hope, Chief Operating Officer at One Air, added: “This delivery showcases the readiness and capability of our technical and flight operations teams to support our fleet and network expansion. The 777F continues to prove itself as a highly reliable and efficient aircraft, well-suited to our customers’ evolving requirements.”
