LBC surpasses 600,000 global deliveries, marks 75 years and positions Asia Pacific as key growth engine

March 11, 2026 by PLA Editor

LBC Express commemorates 75 years since pioneering the balikbayan box, announcing it has recorded over 600,000 deliveries worldwide as of the end of Q3 2025. This milestone strongly reinforces LBC’s commitment to growing its regional supply chain and e-commerce solutions across the Asia-Pacific region.

Aligned with its 75th-anniversary theme, “We Move With You,” LBC Express, Philippines’ homegrown brand, continues to strengthen its global presence, with a growing network of over 6,400 locations, partners, and agents across 30 countries worldwide. This extensive network delivered over 4,000 Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) worldwide, with nearly 1,000 TEUs contributed by the Asia-Pacific region. This growth underscores LBC’s increasing role in facilitating regional trade and supply chain stability for businesses and consumers across key APAC markets.

Demonstrating the financial strength of its vast network, LBC Express achieved a gross revenue of PHP 10.47 billion in the first nine months of 2025. Of this total, approximately 39% came from its overseas markets, or about PHP 3.83 billion, underscoring the vital role of its international network. Domestic operations remained the core engine of growth, contributing PHP 6.29 billion of sales. LBC’s revenue was primarily driven by its two core segments: the Retail division (covering courier, air cargo, and balikbayan box services), which contributed approximately PHP 6.88 billion, and the Corporate division (including business solutions, freight forwarding, and e-commerce), which generated PHP 3.2 billion.

LBC has become an integral partner for entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and major global enterprises throughout the region. By the end of Q3 2025, the company handled over 7,000 TEUs in sea cargo and almost 13 tons in domestic air cargo, reflecting its scale in both B2B freight and last-mile delivery essential for e-commerce fulfilment.

Beyond its core logistics services, the company also recorded strong revenue growth in remittances, generating approximately PHP 346.37 million, along with PHP 7.35 million in payment solutions. This continued expansion solidifies LBC’s role as a complete partner for Filipino families and businesses, offering both essential shipping and financial services.

“For 75 years, LBC has stood as a symbol of reliability, connection, and care. We see the Asia-Pacific region not only as a key market for our Filipino community but as a crucial engine for trade and e-commerce innovation,” said Enrique V. Rey, COO and President of LBC Express, Inc.  “’We Move With You’ is not just our anniversary theme — it’s our story. Through every milestone, every movement, and every Filipino journey, LBC has been there, carrying more than just parcels — but the spirit of family, resilience, and nationhood.”

Established in 1950, LBC quickly became known as the pioneer of the balikbayan box service, the Filipino term for a repatriate box used by overseas Filipinos to send gifts, clothing, and household goods back to their families in the Philippines. The service was initially introduced as a streamlined sea cargo solution. Now, LBC remains a trusted service provider, defined by its commitment to reliability and innovation that continues to move people, communities, and businesses forward across the globe.
