Air cargo demand sustains steady recovery in July

Latest market analysis from CLIVE Data Services shows that air cargo volumes continued to climb in July, inching up 8 percent over the previous month. Meanwhile, load factors for the month remained ahead of last year’s levels. Airports Council International (ACI) World reported global passenger traffic up 5.7% in December 2017 on a year over year basis. October confirmed its reputation with record volumes

The latest worldwide air cargo figures - as reported by 75 airlines to WorldACD - confirmed that the month of October 2017 was special. Monthly volumes were higher than ever, whilst revenues (when measured in EUR) peaked as well. Air Freight growth continued into September 2017

According to ACI, in September 2017, Asia-Pacific airports reported growth of +7.3% while the Middle Eastern airports recorded a decline of -0.8% compared to the same period last year. WorldACD reports a double digit growth in air cargo industry
