Qantas has admitted its guilt to illegally fixing air cargo freight surcharges to the Australian competition regulator. The airline agreed to pay a A$20 million fine and apologised “unreservedly” for illegally ramping up its freight charges in concert with other international airlines between 2001 and 2006. Schenker adds HK to paper-free target
Schenker Australia has added Hong Kong to destinations using paper-free airfreight shipments from Australia. Last month the company successfully completed first trial shipments with electronic freight documentation on the routes Sydney-Singapore-Sydney with Singapore Airlines and Sydney-Hong Kong-Sydney with Qantas.
