TIACA’s Doug Brittin to step down end of the year
Doug Brittin, secretary general of the International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) since 2013, has advised the Board of Directors that he will retire at the end of this year. A selection committee, under the direction of TIACA vice-chairman Sebastiaan Scholte of Jan de Rijk Logistics has been established and has commenced the process to review and recruit candidates. Deutsche Post DHL Group has announced a US$137 million investment plan for the US domestic and cross-border e-commerce market. Australia Post, Qantas set to launch StarTrack’s domestic freighter network
Australia Post along with Qantas is set to launch a dedicated domestic freighter network for StarTrack, a subsidiary that provides e-commerce-driven, parcel delivery and supply chain solutions for local, international and online businesses. Atlas Air to operate 20 B767-300 freighters for Amazon
Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. announced today that it has become the latest aviation partner of e-commerce retailing giant Amazon with an agreement to operate 20 freighters on behalf of the company which will take up as much as a 30 per cent share in Atlas.
