Etihad Cargo moves into cargo top 10

Cebu Pacific, Tiger Phils set sights on Myanmar

Philippine-based budget carrier Cebu Pacific and unit Tiger Airways Philippines are seeking approval from the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) to launch flights to Myanmar. Cebu Pacific is seeking 1,260 weekly seats for flights between Manila and Yangon, while Tigerair Philippines has filed a separate application with CAB seeking 1,260 weekly seats for the route. UPS names Canavan new president of UPS Airlines.

UPS has named Brendan Canavan, a 33-year UPS veteran, the new president of UPS Airlines. Canavan replaces Mitch Nichols, who was promoted to senior vice president of transportation and engineering. Most recently, Canavan served as president of UPS Asia Pacific for the past two years. New TAPA security standards as cargo crime rises

The Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) has launched what it says is, "the most comprehensive supply chain security standards for facilities and trucking in its 17-year history". Jan Krems named president of United Cargo

United Airlines today announced the appointment of Jan Krems as president of United Cargo and vice president United Airlines. Krems takes over the role held by Robbie Anderson who was president of United Cargo since 2010.
