MAB Kargo is strengthening its footprint in the East of China with the launch of new freighter service to Guangzhou (CAN) from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) as part of its extensive routes in the East China region. A MAB Kargo A330-200 freighter will operate twice weekly services to CAN commencing from 8 November 2016. These services make a new stop at Guangzhou every Tuesday and Thursday. UPS places order for 14 B747-8 Freighters
UPS and Boeing today announced that the US-based integrator has ordered 14 new B747-8 Freighters, worth US$5.3 billion at list prices, to meet increased demand for the company’s express services. Rawanda launches emergency drone delivery service with Zipline, UPS and others
Rwandan President Paul Kagame launched the world’s first national drone delivery service during a ceremony in the country’s centrally located Muhanga District. Starting today, the Rwandan government will begin using drones to make up to 150 on-demand, emergency deliveries per day of life-saving blood to 21 transfusing facilities located in the western half of the country. DHL Express opens new €230 million Leipzig sorting centre
DHL, a global leader in international express services, today officially opened the new sorting centre at its express hub in Leipzig. The state-of-the-art sorting facility can now handle bulkier and heavier shipments which are sorted on a fully automated basis at Europe’s most modern shipment sorting facility.
