Astral Aviation drafts first B767F on Nairobi service

Astral Aviation announces its strategic plan for the B767F

All-cargo carrier Astral Aviation will deploy its first B767-200F on a twice weekly service between Nairobi and Sharjah, UAE, starting 3 February. ATSG acquires P2F specialist PEMCO

Air Transport Services Group, Inc. said its subsidiary, Airborne Maintenance and Engineering Services, Inc. (AMES), has acquired PEMCO World Air Services, Inc., a privately held provider of outsourced heavy maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) aircraft services and passenger-to-freighter aircraft conversions. China’s lastest cargo carrier gets green light

Guangzhou-based China Air Cargo has provisionally secured its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). The CAAC announced its decision on 7 November saying that once all formalities are completed, the cargo carrier will be able to operate domestic Chinese (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) as well as international cargo flights. ATSG confirms deal with Amazon to operate 20 B767s

After weeks of speculation, Air Transport Services Group, Inc. (ATSG) announced today agreements with Amazon Fulfillment Services, Inc., an affiliate of Amazon.com, Inc., to operate an air cargo network to serve Amazon customers in the United States. Amazon set to take control of French delivery company

Amazon has yet again quietly moved to ramp up its steps into the transportation realm, this time in France where it is expected to shortly acquire a 75 per cent stake in the French package-delivery company Colis Privé, that it doesn’t already own.
