Malaysia Airlines Bhd to operate new A350-900s

The recently-relaunched Malaysian national carrier that was rebranded from Malaysia Airlines System (MAS) to Malaysia Airlines Berhard (MAB), has signed a contract with US-based Air Lease Corporation (ALC) for the long-term lease of four new A350-900s. Engine fire forces BA 777 to abort take off

A British Airways aircraft engine caught fire in Las Vegas as it was about to take off for London, Gatwick Tuesday night (US west coast time), forcing all 172 passengers and crew to escape down emergency slides as smoke and flames engulfed the aircraft. Korean Air helps with Myanmar floods

Korean Air is providing relief goods to those affected by the flood in Myanmar with goods delivered to the country including 1,800 litres of water and 500 blankets. The relief goods fom Korean Air were delivered to Myanmar on 2 September, through the carrier's flight KE471. Changi Airport Group (CAG) has welcomed AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) to Singapore Changi Airport, with its inaugural flight from Moscow, Russia arriving on 3 September. SATS to set up e-commerce hub at Changi for SingPost

Singapore-based ground handler, SATS Ltd. and Singapore Post Limited (SingPost) have announced a commercial agreement for SATS to provide airmail consignment handling services to SingPost.
