Philippine-based budget carrier Cebu Pacific and unit Tiger Airways Philippines are seeking approval from the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) to launch flights to Myanmar. UPS has named Brendan Canavan, a 33-year UPS veteran, the new president of UPS Airlines. Canavan replaces Mitch Nichols, who was promoted to senior vice president of transportation and engineering.
