Finnair joins IAG Cargo’s partner programme

Finnair Cargo has become the latest carrier to join IAG Cargo’s innovative Partner Plus programme, through which members agree to interline on each other’s metal on a commercially booked basis. Japan Post to buy Toll for US$5B

State-owned Japan Post will buy Australian logistics company Toll Holdings Ltd. for US$5.07 billion, as it seeks new sources of growth ahead of an initial public offering planned for later this year. Under the deal, Toll will retain its name and run as a division under Japan Post. Toll’s board of directors has unanimously recommended shareholders accept the offer. Cathay gives Kolkata its second freighter service

Cathay Pacific Airways has launched a new service to Kolkata, India, commencing 11 March 2015. Cathay Pacific will become the only carrier providing direct freighter services between Kolkata and Hong Kong. The scheduled service will operate twice a week on a HK-New Delhi-Kolkata-HK routing. Lufthansa takes delivery of fifth Triple Seven

Lufthansa Cargo has taken delivery of its fifth and final Boeing 777F freighter aircraft. D-ALFE landed in Frankfurt for the first time on 12 February on its delivery flight from Everett near Seattle.
