Swissport expands in Vienna with new cargo terminals
Swissport has signed a 7-year lease for two air cargo terminals near Vienna Airport as the company aims to expand its cargo activities and build its share in forwarder handling. The adjacent 8,000-sqm warehouses are part of the Deutsche Logistik Holding‘s ‘SkyLog Park Vienna’ in Austria’s Fischamend region, the company said. SEKO Logistics is set to boost its presence in China with the expansion of an existing warehouse and fulfilment centre in Shenzhen, backed by equity investor Ridgemont Equity Partners.
