DHL is investing US$108 million to expand its Americas hub facility at the Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky airport (CVG) to meet the demands of continued growth in international ecommerce and global trade. Jettainer has inaugurated its expanded logistics centre at Frankfurt Airport. At the so called JettHub FRA, all resources are now bundled. The new facility guarantees immediate availability of ULD handling, maintenance and repair services at Germany's largest air traffic hub. LAN Cargo has signed an agreement to outsource the repair and maintenance of its ULDs and pallets at Miami International Airport to CHEP Aerospace Solutions. Private equity firm LBO France has agreed to sell its ownership of ground handling company Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) to Platinum Equity – a specialist merger, acquisition and operation (M&A&O) company - for an undisclosed sum.
