Chris Foyle enters TIACA’s Hall of Fame

The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has honoured Chris Foyle, chairman and founder of Air Foyle, with entry into the TIACA Hall of Fame in recognition of his innovative and professional leadership in the air cargo industry. Foyle will officially receive the 2007 Hall of Fame award at TIACA's executive conference and AGM in Cologne next month. DHL has announced the appointment of Matt Daniels as the new general manager for the company's business in Kuwait. Daniels started his career with DHL Express back in 1997 and during his time with DHL has held a variety of commercial and general management positions within the Middle East. Separately, DHL Express Malaysia has expanded the role of its country manager Sam Leong to include the operations in Brunei. Brunei country manager Hardy Diec now reports to Leong. State owned postal service company PT Pos Indonesia (Posindo) said its business has improved much in the last two years and it has been able to significantly reduce loses. Such improvement, according to president director Hana Suryana, is the result of the transformation in its core business, business culture and organisation. In 2006, Posindo earned Rp 1.412 trillion compared to Rp 1.410 trillion in 2005. Changi buys stake in Nanjing airport

Singapore's Changi Airports International said it has bought a 29 percent stake in China's Nanjing Lukou International Airport for US$138 million ¨C launching what is expected to be another bumper year for airport sales and privatisations.
