Aramex breaks ground in Dubai Logistics City
Aramex has broken ground on its Dubai-based Logistics Centre, located in Dubai Logistics City (DLC). The AED 120 million (US$37.2 million) facility encompasses a built-up area of over 43,000 square metres, situated over a 140,000 square-metre area of land, and is due for completion in the first quarter of 2011. Kuehne + Nagel has released its financial figures for the first nine months of 2009 saying it had achieved “very satisfactory†results due to the ‘early, consistent implementation’ of its dual strategy of strict cost management and commitment to market-share expansion. Panalpina and Atlas Air extend partnership
Global forwarding and logistics group Panalpina and its long-time airline partner Atlas Air have announced a renewal of their cooperation agreement under which Panalpina provides owncontrolled capacity between Europe, North America and Mexico and links the company’s oil and gas hubs.
