AEI wins new B737-400SF conversion
Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has announced that it has signed a contract with an aviation fund for an 11 pallet position B737-400SF freighter conversion. The aircraft, built in 1992 is a high gross weight B737-400 and is being converted by Commercial Jet in Miami, Florida. AEI delivers 19 freighter conversions in 2015
Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has successfully redelivered a total of 19 passenger-to-freighter conversions during the 2015 calendar year. The conversions were delivered to eleven customers, with all but two of the conversions being the 11 pallet position B737-400SF. AEI currently has 26 confirmed conversion slots for 2016 and is actively working to fill the remaining 10 slots for 2016. AEI announces order for 15 B737-800SF conversions
Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) has announced that Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has placed an order for 15 B737-800SF conversions with options for an additional 15 freighters. AEI will commence the conformity B737-800SF modification in 2016 and expects to receive FAA Supplemental Type Certification in 2017.
