Qatar Airways has taken delivery of three Airbus A350-1000 aircraft and is now the largest operator of Airbus A350 aircraft with 52 in its fleet. All three new A350-1000s will operate on “strategic” long-haul routes to Africa, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe and should add more belly capacity, joining their forerunners and 30 Boeing 787s. Cebu Pacific taps Lufthansa Cargo unit to manage ULD fleet
Philippine carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) has selected Jettainer, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lufthansa Cargo, to manage and maintain its fleet of unit load devices (ULDs) starting October. Emirates SkyCargo to reopen Dubai South terminal for vaccine distribution
Emirates SkyCargo will reopen its cargo terminal in Dubai South (DWC) to serve as a dedicated airside hub for cold chain storage and distribution of a much anticipated Covid-19 vaccine. DSV boosts air charter capacity on transatlantic route amidst peak season
DSV has added airfreight charter services to the United States to accommodate the surging demand during peak season on the transatlantic route. The logistics provider has started flying airfreight part charters twice a week to New York JFK from Belgium (LGG) since 19 October.
