CargoLogicAir meets Aviation Minister

Senior executives from British all-cargo airline, CargoLogicAir (CLA), have met with Aviation Minister Baroness Sugg to emphasise the airline’s commitment to supporting the UK’s forward-looking position on aviation. Boeing reports $1.6 billion loss in Q3

The Boeing Co’s troubled 787 and 747-8 programmes, along with the global economic recession dragged down its third-quarter earnings, causing the company to report a US$1.6 billion loss Wednesday. “We look forward to getting the 787 and 747-8 in the air soon and moving forward with flight test and certification for these two important programmes,” said Jim McNerney, Boeing’s chief executive. Boeing says 2011 cargo-led recovery in air traffic

The Boeing Company expects global airline traffic – led by air cargo – to recover in 2011 with a return to growth in demand for aircraft in 2012, according to Boeing Commercial Airplanes VP for marketing, Randy Tinseth, speaking at Asian Aerospace in Hong Kong last month. First Boeing 747-8 freighter takes shape
